The story involves The Face pursuing the villain's agents through various confrontations, including encounters with giant kangaroos and a climactic sequence at a baseball game where the final piece of the ray machine is located. When a secret military base on an uncharted tropical island falls into enemy hands, a group of captives—including a young man named Tony and his friends—find themselves prisoners with their fate uncertain. As a traitor is fed to the mysterious Shark and guards close in, a masked figure known as the Face infiltrates the compound alone, determined to rescue the captives and recover a stolen aircraft prototype. What unfolds is a daring one-man assault against overwhelming odds, where quick wits and resourcefulness prove as valuable as courage.
When news commentator Tony Trent broadcasts that the notorious Scar Catrol has been murdered, he's framed for the crime and forced to go on the run—transforming into his masked identity, the Face, to clear his name. As Tony hunts for the real killer, he uncovers a connection between Catrol's death and labor racket disruptions tied to Boss Liams, Catrol's former triggerman. With the police closing in and danger mounting on all sides, the Face must navigate a treacherous web of deception and violence to expose the truth before he's caught—or killed.
