“Introduction”

In "Introduction," the surreal and haunting journey of Tempto and Goldie reaches its mythic climax as they arrive at the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge. With the fate of paradise hanging in the balance, Tempto seeks to rewrite time and reclaim Eden—only for Goldie to step in and restore the course of things. Written by Terry LaBan and illustrated with striking, dreamlike detail by Peter Snejbjerg, this issue features a cover by the legendary Dave McKean, whose haunting art captures the story’s otherworldly gravity.
