The Dodo and the Frog #90
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this November 1956 DC humor title says it all: Fenimore the Frog, top hat and all, sits smugly in a rapidly sinking rowboat, having drilled a hole in the hull to "let the water out" — much to the bewildered dismay of his wide-eyed companion standing ankle-deep in the flooding vessel. Otto Feuer's bright, rubbery linework gives the gag a wonderfully deadpan charm that makes the absurdity land perfectly. Interior art by Rube Grossman rounds out what looks like a genuinely fun ten-cent package, with the bonus of a Giant 5000 Prize Contest entry blank tucked inside.
