The Dodo and the Frog #89
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA delightful slice of 1956 DC humor, this issue of The Dodo and the Frog captures a perfectly silly baking mishap on its cover — the Dodo squeezes an icing bag with great concentration while a thoroughly frosted Frog stands dripping in a top hat, deadpanning that the icing "doesn't seem to be coming out." Otto Feuer's cheerful, expressive linework gives both characters tremendous personality, making the gag land with easy charm. As a bonus, the issue promises details and an entry blank for a Giant 5000 Prize Contest, so readers in 1956 got a little extra sweetness along with their laughs.
