The Dodo and the Frog #80

DC's long-running funny-animal series serves up a delightfully absurd scene in this September–October 1954 issue: Dodo, in his familiar brown hat and striped tie, carefully pours cream into a flowerpot perched atop a melting block of ice, and — sure enough — the pot has sprouted a tree blooming with ice cream cones. The Frog, dapper top hat slightly askew, eagerly helps himself to a scoop with wide-eyed glee.
