The Demon #57
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeJohn McCrea's cover for this April 1995 issue is a gloriously chaotic pile-up of supernatural combatants — a massive, snarling beast-creature dominates the center, ridden by a muscular figure swinging an enormous hammer overhead, while a bandage-wrapped mummy, a horned gunslinger in a blue cloak, and a blazing red-and-yellow figure clash in the foreground amid bursts of fire and energy. It's the kind of cover that makes "The Longest Day, Part Three" feel exactly as sprawling and furious as its title suggests. Garth Ennis and McCrea were clearly having a field day with DC's Hell-born antihero at this point in the series' run.
