The Demon #48
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeJohn McCrea's cover for this June 1994 issue says everything with wry, snarling wit: Etrigan the Demon — battered, battle-scarred, and very much alive — plants an American flag in front of a hulking military tank as smoke curls from its cannon barrel. The tagline "Be All That You Can Be…!" twists the famous Army recruiting slogan into something decidedly more infernal, perfectly capturing the dark humor Garth Ennis brought to "Haunted Glory, Part Three." It's a sharp, energetic image that makes the Etrigan/military mashup feel both absurd and genuinely compelling.
