Two of DC's most combustible personalities — the yellow-masked, red-suited Demon and the chain-wielding, scowling Lobo — crash through rubble toward each other on this wonderfully chaotic 1993 cover, with the tagline "…When Bastiches Clash!" promising exactly the kind of supernatural-meets-interstellar mayhem only these two could deliver. Val Semeiks and Karl Kesel bring tremendous kinetic energy to the image, with debris flying and both figures looking genuinely dangerous. Part three of "The Eternity Quest," written by Alan Grant with interior art by Rich Hedden and Tom McWeeney, this issue sits at a delightful crossroads of DC's supernatural and science-fiction corners.
