The Demon #30
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThere's something wonderfully absurd about seeing Etrigan the Demon — name tag reading "Asteroth" — decked out in a mechanic's uniform and ball cap, manning what appears to be a gas pump outside Joe's Garage against a glittering city skyline. Denis Rodier's painted-style cover gives the hellish creature an oddly blue-collar charm, blending the mundane and the monstrous with a sly wit. Alan Grant and Rich Hedden's 1992 run on The Demon consistently found fresh angles on its supernatural subject, and this issue's "It Happened One Night" promises more of that same off-kilter energy.
