About this Collection
This first volume of The Dam Keeper collects the opening chapters of the post-apocalyptic graphic novel series by Robert Kondo and Daisuke Tsutsumi, originally developed from the Oscar-nominated animated short film. It follows a young pig named Pig living in a small town perpetually threatened by a toxic fog, which he must hold back each day by operating a massive windmill dam. The story blends environmental themes with a coming-of-age narrative as Pig faces the dangers beyond his isolated community.
