The Cull #3

Mattia De Iulis bathes this third issue of Kelly Thompson's The Cull in deep violet light, centering on a young woman gazing upward as dark, serpentine tendrils swirl around her and luminous energy crackles across her skin. It's an arresting image — serene and unsettling in equal measure — that signals something momentous is stirring for this character. With lettering by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou rounding out the creative team, this 2023 Image series continues to make a strong visual case for itself.
