The Crusaders #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe second issue of DC's Impact Comics imprint brings the Crusaders face-to-face with a serious threat, as the cover — penciled by Dan Jurgens and inked by Keith Williams — shows the savage, snarling Kalathar dominating the skyline atop a skyscraper, chains in hand, while the strained faces of five Crusaders team members ring the composition in vignettes. The bold tagline "Kalathar Unleashed!" says it all: this beast of a villain looks like more than a match for the assembled heroes. With Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn writing and Rags Morales on interior art, this 1992 series was bringing real creative firepower to DC's Impact line.
