In "A Vision of Death," Dr. Battu returns to his lab to find his Creech experiment twisted into a weaponized monster—cloned from an aborted fetus and alien DNA. Outraged, he brings a news reporter to expose the truth, handing over a vial of alien DNA as proof before attempting to transfer his consciousness into the creature. The moment is shattered when Dross intervenes and shoots him. Written and illustrated by Greg Capullo, with inks by Danny Miki, colors by Tyson Wengler, and letters by Chris Eliopoulos, the cover by Capullo and Miki captures the tension of a man confronting the monstrous legacy of his own creation.
