The Complete Carl Barks #24
In "Soluzione attaccaticcia," Daisy, fed up with Donald and men in general, takes her nieces on a camping trip to prove her point. Trapped on a high peak with no way down, they’re rescued by a group of men—only to conclude that, while most men are decent, Donald remains the real beast.
When Scrooge goes missing and his usual routines grind to a halt, Daisy steps in to manage his affairs with surprising confidence—only to discover just how deep the mystery runs when she finally tracks him down, stuck in a chute leading to his underground jewel vaults.
In "Paperino e la fontana della giovinezza," Scrooge and the boys recount a wild Florida adventure to Grandma, revealing they once stumbled upon Poncey de Loon’s legendary fountain of youth—back when Donald was still part of the journey. The tale unfolds with the usual mix of greed, misadventure, and duck-sized chaos, all centered on the mysterious spring said to restore youth.
In "Nonna Papera e Robertino genio pulcino," Grandma wakes to a quiet farm, sensing something unusual—her clever little chick, Robertino, has vanished, leaving behind a trail of unexpected solutions that have stirred up the neighboring farmers. With a mix of worry and pride, she sets out to find him, wondering how a tiny chick could have stirred such a big fuss.
In "Paperino e il cappello invulnerabile," Donald Duck finds himself stranded on a snowbound farm after his helicopter is shot down by the Beagle Boys, leaving Grandma and her nephews to mount a rescue before the villains can make off with their prize.
