The Comet #55 is an all-star comic anthology featuring multiple stories. "The Golden Scarab" follows Miles and Nina as they search for Ben Hass's treasure in an exotic location, encountering a mysterious merchant and a native guide with a sacred scarab that leads them through various perils and confrontations. "Round the World in the Flying Fish" depicts Jack and Jill's experimental trip around the world with Uncle Bob in a remarkable aircraft, during which they rescue a white girl from island savages and narrowly escape with the help of Uncle Bob's scientific ingenuity.
