The Comet finds himself dwarfed and overwhelmed on this cover, crying out as a massive mechanical entity — the Scavenger — looms over him with enormous claw-like appendages filling the entire background. Michael Netzer and John Beatty deliver a genuinely striking image, using a fiery red palette to make the hero's blue-and-red costume pop against the threatening machinery pressing in from every angle. Issue #11 of DC's Impact Comics line promises a tough situation for the Comet in the aptly titled "Scavenger Hunt.
