Jason Starr, best-selling author of Panic Attack, teams with artist Mick Bertilorenzi for this 2011 DC/Vertigo original graphic novel. Lee Bermejo's striking cover draws the eye immediately — a dark-haired, red-lipped figure rendered in moody monochrome and vivid crimson, surrounded by sinuous, almost organic red markings that pulse with an unsettling energy. It's a beautifully atmospheric package that signals something seductive and dangerous waiting inside.
