The Buzz #2

Part of Marvel's Spider-Girl Presents line, this 2000 Direct Edition pits the red-and-blue armored Buzz in a high-altitude struggle above a cityscape, gripping a terrified civilian in yellow while Spider-Man swings into view in the background. Ron Frenz's pencils and Sal Buscema's inks give the scene real kinetic energy, and the cover's pointed question — "Super Hero… or Super Menace?" — sets up the moral tension at the heart of issue #2. It's a solidly crafted superhero dilemma dressed in the best tradition of Marvel's MC2 universe.
