Spinning out of Garth Ennis and John McCrea's The Boys, this 2010 Dynamite miniseries continues its Scottish coming-of-age detour with issue two, "Great Glass Elevator." Darick Robertson's cover arranges the cast in a moody montage — a shaven-headed man at center, a long-haired woman with heavy makeup, and a figure wearing a gas mask loom large in the background, while three boys in school uniforms run and laugh in the foreground, full of the kind of reckless youthful energy that rarely ends well in this universe.
