The Boys: Highland Laddie #1

Spinning out of The Boys, this 2010 Dynamite Entertainment miniseries puts the spotlight on one character at the center of it all — a weary, bearded young man sits hunched on a bucket, fists pressed to his chin, surrounded by ghostly red-and-blue vignettes of costumed figures mid-brawl and mid-flight. Darick Robertson's cover composition is quietly striking, placing that brooding central figure in sharp contrast to the violent, chaotic world pressing in around him.
