The Boys #24
Issue twenty-four of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's gleefully transgressive series delivers a cover that's essentially a disaster painting come to life. Robertson's artwork sprawls across a battered two-story house in full collapse — superheroes and costumed figures brawling on the porch, crashing through walls, launching motorcycles into the air, and spilling out onto a front yard littered with wrecked cars, debris, and bewildered bystanders. It's a wonderfully chaotic snapshot of the series' core premise — that superhumans in the same neighborhood as regular people is a genuinely terrible idea — and "We Gotta Go Now Part Two" promises the mayhem inside lives up to the spectacle on the outside.
