In a 1944 tale of fists and cards, boxer Tim "One Round" Hogan finds his training derailed when Pedro Martinez cheats at poker, handing him a half-interest in the fighter’s future. When Hogan’s sparring partner, Beppo The Bull, knocks him out in the ring, actress Barbara La Tour arrives to uncover the truth—only to find the cards Pedro used were marked. With the deception exposed, Hogan’s spirits lift, and he channels his focus into a powerful spar that leaves Beppo stunned and Pedro fleeing the camp.

In the jungles of Burma during wartime, Captain Kelly, Whacky, and the captured crew of a downed bomber find themselves at the mercy of native tribesmen, with the enigmatic white goddess Manta held prisoner to keep the chief Takoa from striking. When a daring escape in a rocket-powered plane leads them to rally Allied forces, they race back to the village to save their comrades from a Japanese raid—only for Manta to disappear in the chaos.
