In this pivotal 1944 issue of The Black Terror, a mysterious stranger storms into Bob's drug store demanding a rare substance—denied without a permit, he retreats, only to send his thugs to seize it by force. When the Terror Twins uncover that the man’s obsession with the drug is tied to a hidden message in the Rosetta Stone, they race to stop him before he targets Jean, whose life may be the key to a terrifying resurrection. Written by Richard Hughes and illustrated with striking flair by Alex Schomburg, whose cover captures the menace of the moment, this issue blends pulp intrigue with supernatural mystery in a story that deepens the Black Terror’s legacy.
