DC Black Label's The Bat-Man: Second Knight reaches its third chapter with a cover that feels like a fever dream pressed into painted ink. Mike Perkins composes a brooding silhouette of the Bat-Man looming large over the scene, while within and around that shadow swirl a caped Batman in action, a sinister scarecrow-like figure, two armed figures pointing guns directly at the viewer, and ghostly skull imagery bleeding through the warm violet and rose hues — all colored to haunting effect by Mike Spicer.
