The Authority: Revolution #7
Titled "Reflections," this seventh chapter of the twelve-part "Revolution" arc arrives with one of the more quietly unsettling covers in the series' 2005 run — Dustin Nguyen's artwork placing a young child seated on the floor amid scattered records, a teddy bear, and childhood keepsakes, while a grown woman in a Union Jack shirt stands at a freestanding mirror, cigarette in hand, gazing at her own reflection. The contrast between the child's world of toys and the adult figure's cool detachment gives the image a melancholy, introspective mood that fits the story title perfectly. Ed Brubaker and Nguyen continue their collaboration here, and this cover alone suggests the arc is venturing into personal, emotionally layered territory.
