The Authority #16

This WildStorm series was never short on spectacle, and Simon Coleby's cover for issue #16 (January 2010) delivers a striking image of a suited figure crackling with arcs of lightning, suspended high above a sprawling nocturnal cityscape. A dark, ringed sphere looms ominously in the sky behind him, lending the scene an air of cosmic threat. With Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and a talented art team on board, this is a compelling snapshot of The Authority at its most charged.
