The Amazing Spider-Man #26 (990)

Part 7 of 9 in the "Death Spiral" arc, this 2026 issue delivers a gut-punch of a cover by Ryan Stegman — a black-and-yellow-costumed figure is sent crashing to the ground in agony, chains whipping through the air, while a white-suited, masked adversary looms above in a flash of golden light. The tension and raw physicality of Stegman's linework make it clear the stakes in this penultimate stretch are enormous.
