“Call Him... Monster!”

The second chapter of this 1992 four-issue limited series pits Marvel's ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing squarely against the original Ghost Rider, and the cover by Joe Quesada (pencils) and Dan Panosian (inks) makes that collision feel immediate and visceral — a flame-wreathed, skull-faced Ghost Rider bears down on his motorcycle while a snarling, rocky-fisted Thing braces for impact amid bursts of hellfire yellow. Tom DeFalco scripts and Ron Wilson pencils the interior story "Call Him... Monster!", promising the kind of hard-hitting Marvel team-up that made the early '90s such a fun era for fans of both characters.
