The Adventures of Rex the Wonder Dog #14
In "The Eagle Hunter!", Bobo’s latest adventure takes to the skies—literally—when he joins his elderly friend on a flight that turns tragic mid-air. With a parachute and aviator’s helmet in hand, Bobo scrambles through wreckage and flees a hidden killer, only to uncover a deadly trap rigged in the plane. Written by John Broome and illustrated by Irwin Hasen, with inks by Bernard Sachs and lettering by Gaspar Saladino, this 1954 tale blends suspense and whimsy. The cover, by Gil Kane and Sy Barry, captures the moment of flight and danger with bold, dynamic flair.
