The Adventures of Peter Wheat #22
In this 1950 adventure, Peter Wheat and his loyal friend Beetle face a fiery crisis when the Grand Wizard’s hiding spot in a water wagon sparks chaos—hornet knights attack, the wagon ignites, and the panicked mice send it careening through dry fields. Just as disaster looms, a sudden rain shower brings relief, all drawn from the imaginative storytelling of Walt Kelly, who wrote, illustrated, and inked this whimsical tale.
