A weasel snatches a baby mouse. Beetle tries to stop him, but is carried into the weasel's burrow. The burrow holds more dangers, like a snake and a bat, but when Beetle and the mouse get outside, they are captured by the Grand Wizard and his knights. The mouse is sent with a hornet knight to bargain with Peter Wheat, but a hawk decides it wants the mouse. Peter saves the mouse and then goes in disguise to save Beetle.
