Jerry takes his nephew Renfrew, Witch Kraft, and three of Renfrew's friends on a cross-country trip during spring break in one of Mr. Hal's buses. Mr. Hal is forced to go with Jerry when two loan sharks threaten to kill his brother unless he drops off some packages for them. Everything goes OK until the final drop off, when the federal agents -- who think Jerry is on their side, though he doesn't know what they are talking about -- and the loan sharks think Jerry has double-crossed them, catching Jerry in their crossfire. Fortunately, Renfrew and the other boys get Jerry out of this mess.
