The Adventures of Devil Doone #10

Jan 1950 · K. G. Murray · 6d [0-0-6 AUP]
“A Dose of Devilment”

In "A Dose of Devilment," Devil Doone swaps his usual chaos for a boxing ring, stepping in as manager to prize fighter Lew Rannick on the path to a world title clash with Razorfist Polinski. With a warm-up win over Zanza under his belt, the fight's integrity is threatened when gang boss Hispano bets big on Polinski—and starts fixing the match. Written by R. Carson Gold and brought to life with sharp, dynamic art by Hart Amos (pencils and inks), this 1950 issue delivers high-stakes tension and a classic pulp edge, all wrapped in a cover by Amos that captures the grit and swagger of the era.
