Bingo Wilkin bursts through the front door in this 1978 Archie series entry, arms flung wide as he breathlessly tells Uncle Herman about a dog "as big as a house" — while a small, very ordinary pup trots in at his heels and a girl laughs alongside him. Uncle Herman, settled comfortably at the kitchen table, delivers the perfectly deadpan reply that's visible right on the cover, and the whole scene crackles with the warm, quick-witted humor that made this series such a charming companion to the Archie line.
