“Rebel Rouser”

A shuffleboard court sets the scene as Samantha cheerfully tells a flashily dressed Bingo — sporting oversized shades, a floral shirt, and bell-bottoms — that she dreamed she dated "the world's handsomest boy," while Bingo's equally smug response makes it clear he thinks she means him. Meanwhile, the real Bingo (jacket and all) watches the exchange from the foreground, his grumpy little dog sitting nearby, as a tiny inset face up top cheekily declares "That's me!" Cover pencils by Dan DeCarlo Jr. and inks by Rudy Lapick give the whole scene a breezy, sun-drenched late-'70s charm that perfectly captures this Archie Series title's lighthearted humor.
