The cover by Mike Deodato Jr. says it all — a ferocious, face-to-face collision between a snarling Thanos and a smaller, equally defiant opponent, both engulfed in an inferno blazing with the shape of a great cosmic bird. Jeff Lemire, Germán Peralta, and Rachelle Rosenberg bring their considerable talents to this 2017 Marvel series, and the eleventh issue clearly finds the Mad Titan in the thick of a brutal, personal confrontation. If the raw intensity of this cover is any indication, this is one chapter of Thanos's ongoing saga that doesn't let up for a moment.
