Texas Rangers in Action #77
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCharlton's Texas Rangers in Action #77 (April 1970) packs two full western adventures onto one cover, with a lawman on horseback caught in a tense standoff — a warning cry of "Beware, Señor Yanqui!" met with the threat "Shoot the Yanqui lawman, amigos!" — promising dangerous territory ahead in "Enemy Ground." Below that, a lone rider on a blue horse races hard across open desert terrain, teasing the second tale, "Beyond the Law," in which a character named Loco finds himself chased by lawmen. The cover, penciled and inked by the team of Steve Ditko and Pete Morisi, brings real energy to both scenes, while interior stories are crafted by the prolific Joe Gill with art by Pete Morisi — a solid creative lineup for any fan of 1970s western comics.
