Texas Rangers in Action #48

This issue contains two stories: "The Governor's Special," in which Texas Rangers must protect a train carrying a governor and a senator from Washington, which is destroyed in an explosion; and the main story featuring a fast-drawing gunslinger named Blanco, a hardened criminal from Mexico also known as El Fargo. A Ranger confronts Blanco over a stolen silver six-gun, and the narrative reveals Blanco's reputation as the fastest gun in South America before the Rangers must stop him and his gang—which includes the dangerous gunfighters China John and O'Malley—from robbing a bank with dynamite and taking gold.
