# Texas Rangers in Action #33 This issue contains two stories. In the first, a Texas Ranger named Luke Spade confronts armed outlaws in a general store shootout, discovering that steel is concealed behind the wooden front, allowing him to turn back their slugs. The second story follows Peter Tanner and his murder victim Jack Barratt, backed by gunslinger Res, as they bring the law to arrest a man hired for the job; with proof obtained, Jack is taken to a doctor, and Billy—identified as William Bonney—becomes the new sheriff of Lincoln County. A separate tale shows Kyle Brandon reconciling with his brother Rafe over the affections of Molly, ultimately winning her heart as the two brothers make peace.
