An anthology issue featuring "Half a Plan," a text story by former Concho County Sheriff Joe Slidell recounting events from 1882 when two strangers claiming to be Pete Whitbeck and Ed Lane arrived in town, later revealed to be Captain Jefferson Winslow and another guerrilla from Burley's band who were attempting to raid Milton Sacks' bank. The comic also includes an action sequence depicting a gunfight at a shack where Texas Rangers confront criminals, with Loco Joe Bogard firing at an ex-ranger and a woman slamming a shutter during the intense firefight.
