Tessie the Typist Comics #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom Marvel's 1944 humor lineup comes the very first issue of Tessie the Typist, led by a glamorous blonde in a sharp green dress who urges her freckle-faced young companion — Skidsy — to floor the yellow convertible before that steam locomotive roars right past them. The cover crackles with breezy comedic energy, the train's "Toot! Toot!" punctuating the scene as Skidsy cheerfully reassures Tessie she won't miss her ride. It's a charming, lighthearted slice of 1944 storytelling that showcases Marvel's knack for fun, relatable characters beyond the cape-and-cowl crowd.
