With a magic shovel in hand, Heckle and Jeckle dig their way to China, where they take on the role of rickshaw boys—until a heavy rickshaw customer, a cat claiming to weigh a thousand pounds or two, demands to be taken to his home atop a very steep hill. They push hard, nearly making it, but the climb proves more than even their magical dig could handle.

Dinky Duck listens wide-eyed as his grandma spins a tale of his legendary lineage—from prehistoric times to the Renaissance, from ancient Rome to the Wild West—each era showcasing a daring Dinky ancestor, while Rudy Rooster’s past is revealed as anything but heroic. With a parade of past-life Dinkys in wildly different eras and a few very unimpressive rooster relatives, the story unfolds like a duck-sized epic, full of daring deeds and unexpected twists.
