When Torga learns that the Wambogo plan to sacrifice his friend Prof. Bates to Zong, he sets out to stop them. Luana insists on going with him. When they arrive, they discover their old enemy Laskar has taken command of the Wambogo. Laskar captures them and happily substitutes Luana for Bates. Torga breaks free and kills Zong, who falls on and crushes Laskar.
