Marvel's MAX imprint kicks off this five-issue limited series with a cover by Jelena Kevic Djurdjevic that sets an unmistakably grim tone: Terror himself looms large, his decomposed face and mismatched limbs on full display as he grips an assault rifle over a mass of faceless bodies sprawled at his feet. The fiery, smog-choked background and the ominous subtitle Apocalypse Soon make it clear that David Lapham, Koi Turnbull, and Scott Hanna are steering this one into seriously dark territory.
