Marvel's darkly entertaining Terror Inc. goes full holiday horror with issue #8, "The Gift of the Maggia" — and the cover sets the tone perfectly with a twisted riff on "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town." Two armed men crouch in what appears to be a wintry urban alleyway, taking cover beside a looming figure in a bloodstained red-and-white Santa suit, while scattered toys — including a doll and a stuffed animal — lie among the debris at their feet. D.G. Chichester's sardonic holiday spirit comes through loud and clear in that speech-bubble promise: "You'd better not shout, you'd better not cry, you'd better not pout — get ready to die.
