Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Armageddon Game #2

All four Turtles crouch atop what appears to be a massive metal structure, weapons drawn and ready — Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo rendered in a gritty, cinematic style that captures the weight of whatever high-stakes conflict The Armageddon Game has set in motion. The cover art by Vincenzo Federici, with colors by Matt Herms, gives the scene a brooding, almost noir atmosphere, the dark sky pressing down on the brothers as they hold their ground together. This 2022 IDW series, written by Tom Waltz, clearly has big ambitions for the Turtles, and issue #2 makes a strong visual case that the stakes are only climbing higher.
