Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDan Duncan's cover for this third chapter of IDW's "Change is Constant" arc frames all four Turtles against a blazing amber sky dominated by an enormous full moon — Michelangelo crouched in the foreground, Raphael leaping dynamically in the center, Leonardo perched above on a steel beam, and a fourth Turtle positioned to the right. Equally striking is the grey-furred, orange-clad figure of Splinter watching from the lower right, lending the composition a quiet gravitas amid all the kinetic energy. With Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz steering the story and Duncan handling both pencils and inks, this 2011 IDW run was clearly committed to bringing something fresh and thoughtful to these beloved characters.
