Three Turtles — identifiable by their red, blue, and purple bandanas — stand with backs to us, weapons drawn, gazing up at a fourth brother who appears suspended or falling in a blaze of light between two dark walls. Rafael Albuquerque's cover composition brilliantly frames the tension: the three figures below feel like witnesses to something momentous unfolding above them. Jason Aaron's "Return to New York" arc continues with issue #2, and this arresting image makes it easy to see why this creative team is generating real excitement in 2024.
