Khoi Pham's cover art captures the team in full mid-action chaos, each hero's distinct costume and power set on vivid display against that looming underwater threat. Benjamin Percy's DC Universe Rebirth run looks to be diving headlong into oceanic danger, and "Terror from the Deep!" promises the Teen Titans have their hands — and fins — very full.

King Shark attacks the team and they realize that he's behind the disappearance of reporter Bonnie Chung. Later, Jackson Hyde arrives but Robin refuses to consider letting him join the Titans. When the heroes track King Shark to Alcatraz Island, Hyde follows them and tries to help, which causes Robin to change his mind. King Shark meets up with his allies, Black Jack and Black Manta.
