Part of DC's 2019 "Year of the Villain: Evil Unleashed" event, this issue of Teen Titans puts the team's loyalty squarely on the line. The cover by Francis Manapul is a charged, kinetic image: Crush dominates the foreground, chain-wrapped fist swinging forward with fierce intensity, while Robin, Red Arrow, Kid Flash, a purple-energy-wielding teammate, and a heavily armored figure fan out behind her — all clearly turned against her, with the accusatory speech bubble "We know you betrayed us!" cutting right to the heart of the conflict. Adam Glass, Bernard Chang, and Marcelo Maiolo bring the drama of "Friends & Traitors" to a team already fractured, and this cover makes it feel genuinely personal.
